About the Sea Cliff Climbing Course:
Sea cliff climbing, whilst it can be idyllic, also carries a different set of risks. This course will help you prepare and stay safe.
When it’s sunny and calm and you know what you’re doing, it’s like climbing in a dream. However when the sea is a raging tempest below you, and the tide is rising, the same climb can feel like a seriously foreboding place to hang-out.
Depending on your judgement, skills and planning, it can turn out to be the most exhilarating day out – or the one that ends your relationship!
This course looks at the judgements and skills necessary to pick the right adventure for your level of climbing. It focuses on how to access and navigate coastal crags safely, as well as deal with the associated risks of sea cliff climbing and problems should they arise.
