About the activity:
Caves are complex both in terms of navigation and the risks involved, so learning to be an independent caver is an intricate journey in itself.

All you will need to bring:
- Comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting wet and muddy such as a dark-coloured T-shirt and leggings/long trousers, and a lightweight jumper if you feel the cold (please note – the mud will stain light coloured clothing!)
- Wellington boots if you have any (otherwise these can be provided on request)
- It is recommended to bring a change of clothes to change into afterwards
- Drinks
- Packed lunches
- Personal first aid kit
- Your parent or guardian to accompany you if you are a child
- Your sense of adventure!
Previous experience:
You will have ideally been caving down Pridhamsleigh at least five times and Bakers Pit twice before in the last year (we are happy to discuss your other caving experience). A good level of mobility is important as caving is likely to involve crouching, crawling and easy scrambling on uneven and slippery ground.
