About the Knot Craft course:

In this half day knot craft workshop for rock climbers, we will help you to learn and practice commonly used climbing knots in context of their uses.

An understanding of which knot to use and when is fundamental to rock climbing. Each knot has its strengths and weaknesses and a good knowledge of knot craft, and recognition of knots – tied correctly or incorrectly, used properly or not – is an important factor in safety.

You may be a beginner wishing to learn or consolidate the basic climbing knots and their uses; or you may have more experience and want to increase your understanding and add to your knot repertoire. We will discuss your wishes and and plan your workshop accordingly.

There may be a discount for booking two Climbing Workshops as a full 1 day course combination.
