Being able to navigate when the weather turns for the worse is an important skill for your safety. We will happily teach you the map and compass skills you will need if the visibility is poor, or if night draws in.
Happily, Dartmoor can provide all weathers to practice in, from glorious sunny days with expansive views to foggy conditions where you can’t see more than a few metres! It’s wild and rugged landscapes are a superb navigation training ground.
